Anime After Dark
On October 17, 2025 starting at 8:30pm at Louis'; those 19+ can join us for a live idol performance, anime trivia, cosplay contest, open mic karaoke, and maybe purchase anime merch from our non-profit to help support our programming. Prizes are available for trivia and cosplay contest winners.

Cosplay Contest Categories
There are two cosplay competition categories, the Pre-Registration category and the Non-Registration category. The Non-Registration category does not require registration prior to the event. However, sign up at the event is first come, first serve basis and has limited spots. The Pre-Registration category requires the registration form to be complete by October 9, 2025, 11:59 PM. Prop/Weapon Rules
No pyrotechnics, smoke, liquids, confetti, or projectiles allowed. Props must be safe, non-metal, not an actual weapon, and should not endanger participants, judges, or the audience. Please be responsible with your prop choices.
Stage Walk
Stage walk time limit is 15 seconds. No profanity, hate speech, or inappropriate gestures. No stage diving, throwing items, or physically engaging the audience/judges.
Photos
The Saskatoon Japanese Association (SJA) may use your image for the SJA's website, social media, and print materials; and that you waive any right to compensation for such use.
Prizes
One prize per category will be awarded at the judges’ and organizers' discretion.

The Regina & Fujioka Friendship Committee (RAFFCOM) is pleased to announce that a variety of Japanese children’s books may now be requested from any library in Saskatchewan to be delivered to your home library.
